Application, features and how it works
1. What is the sprawdz-kierowce.pl application and how does it work?
sprawdz-kierowce.pl is an application that automates the process of verifying drivers’ driving licences. Thanks to it, you will not have to verify your drivers’ entitlements yourself. Simply enter the details of the drivers you employ and the application will check the driving licence, the categories held and their validity, and will notify you of any irregularities.
2. How does the application know that a driver has a driving licence and the appropriate entitlements?
The sprawdz-kierowce.pl application uses the official services of the Polish Ministry of Digital Affairs — CEPiK — to obtain up-to-date data on drivers’ entitlements. It then processes them in order to verify the presence of the required entitlements and their validity.
3. How does the automated verification of drivers’ entitlements work?
Every day (at 6:45 a.m.) the application checks whether the drivers added by the user hold a valid driving licence and the required categories of entitlements. Thanks to this, you do not have to monitor the documents yourself — the application will do it for you.
4. What happens if the application detects a problem with a driver’s driving licence?
If the application determines that a driver’s driving licence has expired, has been withheld, or that the expiry date of a selected category of entitlements is approaching, you will receive an email and/or SMS notification.
5. Does the application notify me daily about the same irregularity?
No. A notification will be sent only once for a specific irregularity. Further messages will appear only in the case of new problems — for example, when another driver’s entitlements expire or when a different driving licence category is affected.
6. Can I check only selected driving licence categories?
Yes. When adding a driver, you can specify which categories are relevant for your business (e.g. B for a courier, D for a bus driver, C1+E for a lorry driver). The application does not check the remaining entitlements, which makes it easier to analyse the results.
7. Are the driving licence verification results archived?
Yes. All reports from the automated verification of drivers’ entitlements are stored in the history. You can check aggregated results for the entire fleet or view the details for an individual driver.
8. What does the automated verification of drivers’ driving licences look like?
1. You add a driver (first name, last name, driving licence document number).
2. You indicate the required entitlement categories (e.g. B, C, C+E).
3. The application checks the validity of the document and of the selected categories.
4. A report is generated, together with any notification about irregularities.9. How do you ensure the security of personal data?

Processing of personal data
1. Is this even legal?
Yes, we operate in full compliance with the law. Access to information about drivers’ entitlements is regulated by the Polish Road Traffic Act of 20 June 1997 (consolidated text: Journal of Laws of 2020, item 110, as amended) — art. 100ar.
An excerpt from the article:
To any interested party who has been authenticated in the IT system supporting the register, after providing the first name and last name and the document number of a driving licence or tram driving permit issued in the country, the following data are made available:
- - the type and scope of the entitlement obtained;
- - the expiry date of the entitlement;
- - the expiry date of the document;
- - the series and number of the document;
- - information about the withholding of the document, if the document remains withheld.
2. Who is the controller of the personal data?
The controller of the User’s personal data (first name, last name, email address, company name) is Grizzly Software, NIP: 836-182-54-53, with its registered office in Skierniewice, at ul. Armii Krajowej 57 m. 25.
The controller of the personal data of the drivers (employees) is the User, while the Service Provider is the entity processing this data for the purpose of providing the service of verifying drivers’ entitlements — §9 sec. 2 of the Terms of Service.
3. How is my personal data and the drivers’ personal data entrusted to you processed, and is it shared with third parties?
The drivers’ personal data is processed exclusively for the purpose of providing the automated drivers’ entitlements verification service and, in connection with this, is transmitted to the CEPiK service provided by the Polish Ministry of Digital Affairs. No personal data entrusted to us by the user is sold or shared with any third parties in any form.
4. Is my personal data and that of the drivers I employ safe?
Yes, we use market-standard solutions to ensure security, and the connections to our servers are fully encrypted.
5. I would like to use the application but I do not want to share the drivers’ personal data with anyone. What should I do?
It is possible to deploy the sprawdz-kierowce.pl application within your organisation in an “on-premise” mode. You need your own infrastructure, an internet connection and the certificates required to establish a secure connection with the CEPiK system. Please contact us for more information.
6. You claim that personal data is processed securely, yet you also include it in your screenshots. That does not seem like a good idea, does it?
Of course it is not a good idea. It is a terrible idea, and the personal data shown on the screenshots on the website is fictitious — no person has suffered or will suffer because of it ;)

4. I am not satisfied with the application — is it possible to get a refund?
Yes, we refund your money within 14 days of starting a paid plan, without any unnecessary formalities.
5. You mention subscription plans, but I cannot see a price list on the website or in the application — what is going on?
The application is still in the beta (testing) phase and, for this reason, there is no option to purchase a subscription plan available. This means that at the moment you can use the application free of charge.
